The Next Big Streaming Revolution?

Jeffery Katzenberg (founder of DreamWorks), started his next big buisness venture, Quibi, in 2018. It launches on the 6th of April in the US and promises subscribers that it will deliver them short (around 10mins), TV standard programmes and films to watch, flawlessly, in portrait or landscape. One of the major advantages Quibi has over it’s rivals is it’s partners, who have already agreed to produce a slate of original content, spanning entertainment and news mostly, for and after the service’s launch. You may already think that it is going to beat all other streaming services instantly, but it’s not a well recognised brand or it doesn’t have a well recognised brand behind it (e.g. NBC’s Peacock, BBC and ITV’s BritBox). Quibi first came to prominence after it’s keynote at the last CES:
